Nepal, 3 Passes Trek

Soon we'll be trekking towards the highest mountain in the world. That's awesome. The feeling on unpreparedness slowly sets in, but I revel in it. Oh it's a great feeling. Uncertainty ahead. It's fueling!

We only have one day and two evenings to prepare before we leave Kathmandu and start out journey to the Khumbu region. Not much time for sightseeing. Let's begin.

Today was the day we conquered Everest Base Camp. Compared to the other parts of the trek, this is actually a relatively easy walk. The path is clear, it's well trodden, it's relatively flat. The only challenge is the altitude, but not much else. It doesn't feel like a big achievement right now. But it's a name that all people will recognise when they ask where we went in Nepal. We did the 3 passes trek. "The what? Did you go to everest?" Well, yes, we went to everest base camp as well. "Oh cool!! How was it?"

I think I will lie and say it was really tough. Sounds cooler.
